SMK Fabrication Warranty
We stand behind all of our products and guarantee you’ll be satisfied with your entire purchase and product experience. No matter the quality checks we take and care we provide issues come up and we understand that. In the event you have any issues please reach out to use so we can work with you to find a resolution.
3D Printed components – All products manufactured via 3D printing have a limited lifetime warranty. In the event under normal use, wear and life in your vehicle an issue arrives we will replace it. Under the first year all replacements will be mailed for free, after the first year the customer is responsible for shipping.
Metal Brackets – All metal brackets come with a 1 year warranty from the date of purchase. This covers issues such as corrosion, rust, imperfections in manufacturing, broken or bent pieces. All warranty claims are expected to be made with the product having been used under normal use. If signs of excessive force, wear or abuse are apparent claims may be rejected.
Electronics – Any component provided by SMK Fabrication (excludes any Diode Dynamics products) have a 2 year warranty from the date of purchase. This includes switches, pigtails, plugs, outlets, wire harnesses, etc. In the event a product needs replaced the original is expected to be returned so we can verify the product was used under normal use.
Diode Dynamics Warranty
Satisfaction Guarantee
At Diode Dynamics, we want to ensure every customer is satisfied with their purchase. Therefore, we offer a straightforward satisfaction guarantee: If you aren’t satisfied with your purchase, for any reason, just contact us within 30 days of your purchase and we will arrange a refund of your purchase price, or exchange the items with no hassle.
All Products: 3-Year Replacement Limited Warranty
Diode Dynamics carries a 3-year limited warranty on all products, for manufacturing defects or product failure. If you have an issue with any product, we will diagnose the issue with you, and you may be required to answer questions or assist in the diagnosis. If Diode Dynamics determines that your product is defective in material or workmanship, Diode Dynamics will issue an RMA number. An RMA number must be issued before any items are returned.
For approved warranty claims, Diode Dynamics will replace the defective product with the same product or, if it has been discontinued, one comparable in performance and value.
Diode Dynamics product warranty is limited to product replacement only. Diode Dynamics does not offer compensation or coverage of installation labor or time that may be required for replacement of warranty items.
U.S. Customers: All initial shipping costs are covered by Diode Dynamics. In most cases, you will immediately receive the new products with a return label. However, in some cases, you may need to use a provided return label to send back items first. Diode Dynamics will provide one free return label per order. You may return any number of items from the order in one box using the free shipping label. However, you will be responsible for return shipping costs for any other separate returns from the same order.
International Customers: You are responsible for return shipping costs, although Diode Dynamics will cover shipping costs for the replacement. You must return defective products before a replacement can be sent.
Select Products: 8-Year Limited Warranty
In addition to the above 3-Year Replacement Limited Warranty, Diode Dynamics carries an 8-year Limited Warranty on select products. Currently, this includes and is limited to all Stage Series products.
After 3 years of Replacement Limited Warranty, Diode Dynamics will continue to warrant that select products are free of defects for up to 8 years from when the product was ordered. These products must be returned at the customer’s expense to Diode Dynamics, for inspection, and will be replaced or repaired, at the sole discretion of Diode Dynamics. Shipping back to the customer will be covered by Diode Dynamics.
Free Support Forever
Diode Dynamics always provides free support and assistance to any customer. If your warranty has expired, you will continue to receive free service, and we will assist you in determining a solution or possible repair to any issues you might be having with our products.
Stipulations
All schedules are based on the number of days between original purchase date and receipt of RMA information by Diode Dynamics. All warranties are non-transferable. Warranty terms and policies are subject to change without notice.
All warranties, expressed or implied, are void if our warranty claim department determines that there is sufficient evidence of one or more of the following:
- Negligence: Improper installation or improper use, including using or installing any product in a manner not specified by Diode Dynamics, or damage caused by improper installation.
- Abuse: Damage beyond the limits of “normal wear and tear.”
- Unauthorized Repair: Repair service performed or attempted by an unauthorized party.
- Unauthorized Dealer: Purchase of items through any unauthorized party.
Baja Designs Warranty
– Warranties on our products vary by product and/or by industry, as listed below. All warranty returns require a Return Authorization form as described below.
– Warranties cover defects in design and manufacturing only. Warranties do not cover, among other things: installation errors, wear and tear, acts of God, misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, collisions, defects due to custom specifications provided by you, or any product modifications, configurations or combinations not performed by us or on our behalf. Also note the exceptions below for third-party products.
– Warranty periods start on the shipment date.
– For all warranty returns, we will pay the freight costs on the condition that you return the defective product within 90 days of delivery; otherwise, the product must be returned to us with freight prepaid by you. At our option and as the exclusive remedy, we will repair or replace the product in question, or issue credit. If an identical product is no longer available, we may replace with a similar product of comparable value
COMMERCIAL USE:
Light Bars and Auxiliary Lights Used for Commercial Use: This covers the following industries: Agriculture, Industrial, Mining, and Public Safety.
Warranty Period: 5 years or 49,930 hours of operation, whichever comes first. You must be the original owner with proof of purchase upon claim or proof of product registration.
RECREATIONAL USE:
Light Bars and Auxiliary Lights Used for Recreational Automotive/Off Road: This covers lights bars and auxiliary lights.
Warranty Period: Limited lifetime warranty or 49,930 hours of operation, whichever comes first. You must be the original owner with proof of purchase upon claim or proof of product registration.
